  • Rhea Chalak

Rhea is the Vice-President of NTU Film Society. She is also an English Literature and Art History student. In theory she reads, writes and watches everything esoteric; but in practice she reads her Twitter feed, rambles on her Substack, and watches Instagram Reels.

  • Phyllis Chan Yu Jie

Phyllis is an undergraduate in English Literature and Art History (and also NTU Film Society's Honorary General Secretary). Constantly rambling on all things cultural, she finds herself defending contemporary art and "so bad, it's good" media. If you ever need useless information (e.g. how the man who bought the segway company died riding his segway off a cliff, etc.), Phyllis can be found on Instagram (@yuzuwyd) and Substack: https://yuzuwyd.substack.com/.

  • Venesya Mayvelie Kosasi

Venesya is the Honorary Financial Secretary for NTU Film Society with a love for films that explore the complexities of human nature and relationships. She is majoring in English and has been running a book blog on instagram (@teacupbooks) since 2019 where she regularly reviews (goes on rants about) books, creates content, and works with authors and publishers such as Penguin Random House SEA. When not reading or watching a bunch of things, she can be found crying over her newest hyperfixation and collecting random trinkets.

  • Lim Yu Hannah Jade

    EDITOR-IN-CHIEF

Hannah Jade is one of the Editors-in-Chief for Exposure. She also has no idea how to log films on Letterboxd (it looks like she watched 50 films in one day…) She is interested in contemporary archiving practices and artistic studies on consciousness and the body. She is currently on a mission to try every single product on Mixue’s menu. Say hi to her at hanuniera@gmail.com.

  • Kuo Yi Quan

Yi Quan is a Staff Writer for NTU Film Society and an undergraduate in English Literature and Art History. She enjoys hoarding movie and music recommendations from friends, but her favourite activity is probably binge-watching fan edits on TikTok.

  • Billy Steven Tay

Based in Singapore and New York City, Billy Steven Tay is a Staff Writer for NTU Film Society. An ex-film producer and scriptwriter on a new path, he is currently a History major who collects historical music artifacts and enjoys listening, writing and tracing the history of 20th century jazz in America, and documenting cultural transmissions and East-West sensibilities in contemporary Japanese City Pop. • Rachel Goh Rae Ean

Rachel is a Staff Writer for NTU Film Society. She is majoring in English and enjoys writing (duh), reading and photography. You can find snippets of her poetry, opinion pieces and reflections on her newsletter: elacgazette.substack.com

  • Tan Yan An

Yan An is a Staff Writer for NTU Film Society. He majors in English and is still an absolute beginner that is finding his footing in the world and likewise, taste in films. In his free time, he enjoys sci-fiction books, catching up with friends and a nice cup of matcha.

  • Chan Yin Leng Ysabel

Ysabel is a Staff Writer for NTU Film Society. She majors in English and History. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, and listening to rock music. Interested in horror, history, and social commentary, she gravitates towards horror films that serve as social commentary and films that explore the past.

  • Goh Cheng Hao

Cheng Hao is Staff Writer for NTU Film Society and an English Literature and Art History undergraduate. A chronic fidgeter during movies, he has a perpetually growing watchlist and probably watches more film summaries on Youtube than films themselves. With a penchant for horror and the intersections between film and video art, you can find him on Substack (https://chenghao.substack.com/) if he ever gets around to posting his ramblings.

  • Angelica Ng Zhiqi

Angelica is a Staff Writer for NTU Film Society and a first-year Communications undergraduate. Her love for film started with childhood trips to the cinema with her parents, and unhinged rant-reviews on Instagram stories (set to Close Friends only). When not writing, she can be found styling new outfits and collecting pink things. She wanted to be a Disney Princess as a child, and is dedicating her life to fulfilling this fantasy. To connect with her, check out her LinkedIn.

  • Chay Ming En Jeffrey

Jeffrey is a Staff Writer for NTU Film Society and an Undergraduate in Communication Studies. He also needs to get a life, as he has already watched more than 100 films in 2024. Outside of film, his (highly eclectic) interests include football, history and palaeontology. His past writing exploits include a stint as a Junior Writer at KrASIA covering technology and start-ups in the Asia Pacific, as well as involvement in various student publication and publicity projects. If you like his work, you can connect with him on LinkedIn or Letterboxd.

  • Mohamed Shafiullah

Shafi is a Staff Writer for NTU Film Society and a 2nd year History major. He enjoys films all across the filmic spectrum, from Avengers: Infinity War and Deadpool to Django Unchained and The Irishman (no movie is too indie or too mainstream for him). When not writing, he can be found to be thinking about not writing.

  • Sen Ezekiel Laldinmawia Swaranjit

Ezekiel is a Staff Writer for NTU Film Society. A Letterboxd agnostic, Ezekiel goes to The Projector almost weekly (mostly for the food). His favourite genre of film is horror, which he has been watching right since birth, with his first horror film being A Nightmare On Elm Street. Ezekiel realises he doesn’t belong in this group of writers with substacks and letterboxd catalogues, but alas he is here.
